Inspired by iconic essentials and unique modern design , we created a j’amazing braided headband using Mercedes-Benz leather and layered in texture, to top it off. After all, it is Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and we want to cruise around in style.

To create, cut a piece of leather approximately 1/2” wide and 2.5-3 ft long. Add a bright cord (or ribbon) and ball chain. Knot all three materials together onto a hair elastic and braid. Once you have a braid long enough to wrap around your head, knot off on the other end of the hair elastic. Be sure to pull tight to make sure it’s secure. Snip the ends and your ready to brave a bold braided accessory!

lisa-frankenstein: have yr cake & eat it too: bake & decorate a cake, preferably with obscene amounts of sprinkles & motivational frosting messages (when in doubt, default to “eat me.”) put glitter on things & by things, i mean ALL THE THINGS. just make sure to keep it our of yr eyes cuz that shit hurts. pick an item of clothing you love out of yr closet (or off the floor) & create a new outfit around it. be as creative & ridiculous & FANCY as your tender femme heart desires. jerk off. lay back, listen to yr body, & enjoy the ride. moan & scream & curse as loudly & shamelessly as you want. don’t come. or come as many times as you can/want. it’s about the journey; not the destination. take a hot shower. take a cold shower. alternate the temperature. let your body feel the hot/cold. give yrself a massage. lather yr skin with yummy-smelling body butter. put on an outfit you love or something comfy or nothing at all; whatever feels good/right to you at the moment. make a collage. look thru old magazines & media, rip out pictures that speak to you, without judgment. glue them together inside a journal or on a piece of paper or save them to look at later. cuddle with yr beautiful, amazing, perfect, kitty. tell her how much you love her & how beautiful & amazing & wonderful she is. enjoy her soft fur & purring & warm gooey loving. remind yrself that you are loved, even if you do not feel it or believe it. remember that this is temporary & even if yr friends can’t be here for you right now, there is a big ball of fur in yr lap who thinks yr the center of the universe, even tho she hates everyone else & yr a vegetarian who doesn’t even have good food to bribe her with. think of all yr accomplishments, even if all you can think of is making it thru another day. if yr feeling up for it, write them down on scraps of paper & put them in a jar or down in a notebook to read when yr in that space where the only accomplishment you can think of is surviving one more day. color. play with play-doh. blow bubbles. write. make things. create. imagine. always keep imagining. being an idealist & dreamer & creator has kept you alive thru those really dark & desolate & unimaginably painful & cruel places. dream. dream big & dream often. & remember that you can be both tough & tender. that in vulnerability, there is strength. you don’t have to choose between them but you do have to make a choice & i hope that you continue to choose being a tough, tender-hearted, sassy, gender(queer), femme, fairy boy who loves himself & his friends & family & communities openly & truly & fully as he can.
